ENVINET SARA in Greenland - and also in Denmark in the future
Munich, April 2011 – Following the successful extension of the Danish radiation monitoring system with measuring stations in Greenland, the Danish Emergency Management Agency DEMA has now also decided to replace the existing measuring stations in Denmark with ENVINET’s new measuring technology. This means that ENVINET’s SARA spectroscopic monitoring stations will soon also be deployed in Denmark to reliably detect even the slightest trace of artificial radiation in the environment.

TELERAD monitoring stations in Belgium upgraded
Munich, March 2011 – After about one year of development, ENVINET GmbH has now replaced all the radiation monitoring stations that measure gamma radiation in the Belgian radiation monitoring network TELERAD. In particular, this modernisation represents a considerable upgrade in the quality of the monitoring in the vicinity of the four Belgian nuclear plants by deploying the new, highly sensitive SARA spectroscopic measuring system that can detect artificial radiation in real time.

Ring monitoring at Brunsbüttel Nuclear Power Plant
Munich, December 2010 – Brunsbüttel Nuclear Power Plant now has an online measuring network in place to monitor the gamma dose rate in the vicinity of the plant and along the plant perimeter. In close co-operation between the nuclear power plant’s technicians and ENVINET GmbH’s installation team, the automatic monitoring network was successfully put into operation in November.

ENVINET SARA coming to Greenland in the near future
Munich, September 2010 - In future, the Danish Emergency Management Agency DEMA will also monitor radioactivity in Greenland. In order to do so, DEMA will rely on ENVINET’s solutions and introduce monitoring stations in Greenland to create a measuring network in addition to the Danish network already in place.

Munich, June 2010 – Effective 15 June 2010, ENVINET GmbH is now operating as an independent company. TechniData AG's whole ENVINET division has been transferred to ENVINET GmbH, a newly founded company.

TechniData modernizes and extends Belgium’s radiation monitoring network
Belgium’s Federal Agency for Nuclear Control (FANC/AFCN) has awarded TechniData to modernize the monitoring stations in the nation-wide TELERAD network and add a number of additional stations. Following an official invitation to tender that resulted in submissions from five other companies, the contract was awarded to TechniData in November.

TechniData supplies state-of-the-art ERMS to Olkiluoto NPP, Finland / Environmental radiation monitoring system (ERMS)
TechniData AG has supplied the Olkiluoto NPP (nuclear power plant) in Finland with a new ERMS. The network represents the state-of-the-art of technology, enabling also new forms of cooperation between the plant operator TVO and the Finnish regulatory authority STUK.

TechniData expands radioactivity measuring network in Qatar
TechniData is supporting Qatar in expanding its measuring network for radioactivity monitoring. Four new automatic measuring stations have been added to the measuring network since October 2006, which now consists of a network center and 13 measuring stations. Qatar will also join forces with TechniData to construct an advanced network center near the central environmental laboratory which is planned to start operations in July 2007. It will be one of the world’s most cutting-edge stations, according to the newspaper "The Peninsula." TechniData will take charge of operating the system locally for at least one year.

TechniData realizes automatic radioactivity monitoring for E.ON Kernkraft / Measuring data now available online
E.ON Kernkraft, Europe`s largest private nuclear power station operator, has installed new online systems for monitoring the areas surrounding the temporary fuel element storage facilities at its Grafenrheinfeld and Isar sites in southern Germany. The monitoring network from Markdorf-based TechniData AG supports the company in meeting the requirements of atomic energy legislation and measuring radiation in the environment. The measuring data is transferred online and can be accessed by the company and relevant authorities at any time. A reporting module enables data to be easily evaluated and reports to be generated at the touch of a button. What is more, remote configuration and diagnostics keep running costs for the installations low.
