SARA – Spectroscopic Gamma Detector
The SARA detector is a complete gamma spectroscopic measuring system, comprising a scintillation detector, MCA (multi-channel analyzer) and embedded PC, all integrated into a robust, hermetically sealed glass fiber housing. The nuclear spectra that are automatically and continuously measured and analyzed by the detector may be uploaded via a range of different interfaces like LAN, for example. SARA is suitable for unrestricted outdoor use, even under extreme environmental conditions.

Features:
- Fast automatic detection of very low artificial radiation
- Continuous acquisition of the gamma spectra in configurable time interval (1 minute and longer)
- In-situ isotope identification
- Isotope-based alarm management
- Detection of the gamma dose rate
- Extended gamma dose rate range with optional integrated Geiger-Mueller detector
- Extended spectroscopic gamma dose rate range with optional high dose rate spectrometer
- Standardized data exchange according to ANSI N42.42 (XML based)
- LAN and RS232 interfaces
- Wireless communication using integrated WiFi, RADIO or LTE (4G)
- Integrated GPS
- Web server for direct data access
